Embracing Community
At Q-Outdoor we know the health of our business is rooted in the wellbeing of our wider community. That’s why we devote time, energy and money to helping our neighbors, locally and across the globe. Partnering with our friends at QBP, our staff members:
- Regularly volunteer at Loaves and Fishes
- Collect thousands of canned goods for food shelters
- Donate generous sums to the Breast Cancer Fund, animal shelters and other charities
- Devote time to Feed My Starving Children, a global charity
- Fundraise for World Bicycle Relief, a non-profit that spurs healthcare, education and economic development in developing nations by providing bikes to individuals, communities and organizations
Caring for the Environment
Whether we're running a wooded lakeside trail or hiking along the edge of a fragile alpine meadow, we are constantly awed by the beauty and complexity of the natural world. Our time outside makes us conscious of our responsibility to help restore and preserve our planetary home. As a business, we’re doing everything we can to reduce our environmental impact by:
- Operating from a LEED Gold-Certified facility
- Utilizing a rooftop solar panel array that generates 40 kilowatts of clean energy
- Recycling tons of office paper, cardboard, cans and bottles every year
